These are lyrics to a song I hadn’t ever heard before until this past weekend.  I went to a benefit concert for a family that have faced some struggles (to put it lightly) and a guy I know, Brandon Scott Smith, was headlining the event.  The song asked this question, “What can I do but thank you?  What can I do but give my life to you?  What can I do but praise you?”  Those are intriguing thoughts aren’t they?  What else can we do but thank God for all he has done in our life?  What else can we do but give our life to HIM, since he gave HIS for us?  What else can we do but praise HIM because of his majesty, his glory, and his beauty?  God is so moving in my life right now and it’s awesome to be able to just pause for a moment and really see HIM working…..I mean even right down to the timeline of events and how things are panning out.  I’ll be honest, I almost blew it though.  I was going to go another direction and then God fixed that real quick because he threw a detour on the road I was gonig to travel.  I’m glad he did that!  He of course knew what he was doing!  God is awesome!  With all that HE is and all that he has done for me, What can I do but thank him, praise him, and give my life to HIM?!?
