 This pretty cool church that is launching soon in Acworth, GA–Freedom Church–is doing a deal where some of the staff is suspended in the air in a lift and they are remaining there for like 48 hours or something…They are doing this in hopes of getting new bikes for needy children in their area….they have worked a deal with Wal-Mart to discount these bikes to like $30…..not a bad price to provide a new bike for a kid….Not to mention the hope you can put in their life and the smile that will no doubt end up on their faces…So what does being in a lift in the freezing cold while it rains have anything to do with bikes, I guess it doesn’t…..but let me tell you, you will always remember the “crazy” people from Freedom Church who did something out of the box to help those in their community….My wife and I debated for a little bit about how it ties together to have people in the lift and trying to get people to buy bikes…I really don’t know except for the fact that anyone can ask people to buy a bike for a needy child in the area…..but Freedom did it in an “out of the box” way!  People will remember that and kudos to them for serving their community.  They haven’t even launched yet and they are already out there meeting a need!  Great Job to JR Lee and his staff at Freedom Church.  I don’t live in Acworth, but if you do…you might want to check them out when they launch in January!
