So I’m kinda going into “church planter” mode. Where you have to get creative and think outside the box a little and of course pray. I’m praying right now for two big things. I’m going to share those two big things on here because maybe one of my readers (all 3 of you) will be the answer to that prayer. I don’t know, but I do know that God can/will answer this if he wants to….The “big” prayers are as follows.
1. I’m praying for some new A/V equipment to “upgrade” what we have….I would like to renovate my student center with some more modern equipment and that of course cost money…I’m thinking we’ll need about $2500 to make some pretty decent improvements…I would take the equipment that is being replaced and maybe donate it to another youth group starting out or maybe we could find a shelter to put some of the TV’s in or something…I don’t know, but the stuff wouldn’t just be thrown away…it would find a good home….so, that’s “big” prayer #1.
2. Hold your breath, I praying for a couple of passenger vans to make there way to our parking lot…Yeah, I know…that’s a lot to ask…but hey, I’m praying to the right God! I know the cost of those even used would probably be around $35K - $40K but if I never ask I’ll never get it.
So, how can you be the answer to these two big prayers….If you have $42500 sitting around and you’ve been wanting to get rid of it, let me know! Seriously, maybe you know someone who has a van that is trying to give it away. Maybe your church has a van that they are trying to get rid of because you are buying new ones…Maybe you unexpectedly got $2500 recently and aren’t sure what to do with it…
I don’t know…I know they’re big prayers, but they’re being lifted to an even bigger GOD!!!
